A few minutes ago I updated the midsummer makers with separate icons for the alliance and horde bonfires.

The map has been updated and several updates or pushed tomorrow and thursday.

The first update went live this morning and included the horde midsummer bonfires. The second update for tomorrow will introduce different icons for horde and alliance bonfires. And third the Northerend alliance bonfires should showup within 2 days.

Due to overwhelming interest in WyriMaps.net we had to enforce a few measures to keep everything up and running.

First we route over the CoralCDN. They took away a very big load. But not all a few changes have been made to the code to handle things faster and simpler. The script needs some boosting as well there for tonight and a part of tomorrow it’s possible not all markers show for a while. Due to CoralCDN’s caching and due to changes on our end.

WyriMaps.net is proud to announce the linking of current active marker sites.

With this change you can not only link your current location but also what your viewing on the map. A simple example is the upcoming Midsummer Festival Bonfires. The previous link will automatic select the midsummer bonfires and place them on the map. You also can select more then one layer .
